1. Screw Terminal Blocks

The screw terminal block is the most classic type. It uses a screw mechanism to clamp a wire inserted into a terminal. Its key advantages are quick, tool-actuated connection and disconnection without loosening screws, making it ideal for applications requiring frequent maintenance or changes. 3. Barrier Terminal Blocks

Often referred to as a barrier terminal block, this style features a strip with multiple connection points separated by insulating barriers. Wires are typically secured under screw terminals on a metal bar mounted to an insulating base. It is extensively used in control panels, switchgear, and power distribution units where multiple wires need organized, secure, and safe termination.

4. Feed Through Terminal Blocks

The feed through terminal block is designed for internal equipment mounting, offering a compact footprint to save space. It allows a wire to pass through the block to create a connection point. Common variations include PCB-mounted types, DIN rail-mounted versions, and plug-in styles, providing versatile solutions for different spatial and mounting requirements within devices.
